I had to know what was above the ceiling tiles...
I needed to make sure
the joists were in fine shape. I need access to the area in order to
rewire it for lighting and sockets. I had to make sure there wasn't
anythign up there that was "dagerous." For these reasons I tore the
ceiling down and made a fantastic mess. Of course, as with everything
having to do with this house there were some very interesting discoveries.
